I went to a Nordlys rehearsal last Sunday, which is not something I ordinarily do, as I am not one of the dancers myself.  Ann, with the help of Jim and Yonnie, is holding down the fort as temporary director in the absence of John, who is sorely missed, as he fights serious illness.  Fran, Jerry and Tally were conspicuous by their absence, but the rest carried on, in preparation for their next performance, which I understand is to be at a retirement center.  Irene has had eye surgery and looks great (and sees well) without her glasses.  Lynn, as always, lightens things up with his humor, and everyone shares helpful suggestions to improve technique and appearance for the next outing.

Decided it was time to take the plunge into blogging. I'm hoping to increase the interactivity of the site by making it possible for people who are interested, but perhaps not to the point of a "formal" contact, to share their thoughts about the group. The plan is to also get my husband, who is a much better and more experienced dancer than I, to share his thoughts here as well. Dancers, fans and friends, please chime in!
